This museum is located in Kannonzaki Park in Kamoi, Yokosuka City. It features exhibits relating to the “Tokyo Bay catchment area” from the source of rivers flowing into Tokyo Bay to the mouth of Tokyo Bay, and the nature of Miura Peninsula where the museum is located. In addition to arranging displays of National Natural Monuments like the Tokyo bitterling and exhibits like a touch pool where you can touch sea life, they hold collective observation events for observing life like the sea firefly which illuminates at night in summer.

入場料400円ですので，正直，たいした事ない？子供向け？なのでは，とたかをくくっていました。失礼しました。こじんまりとはしていますが，魚に触れるプールがあったり，観音崎の海の中にいるお魚の水槽があったり，非常に楽しめました。

広過ぎず狭過ぎず、混み過ぎず。静かにゆったり見学できました。小さな子にはぴったりです。海沿いを歩いて砂浜まで散策できました。海にはたくさんのタンカーが見られました。
観音崎公園とセットで

観音崎の公園から海側に行ったところにある博物館がここです。三浦半島の自然や海のことがよくわかるところです。充実した内容で場所も海沿いでいいところです。
