Sake Brewery

This sake brewery was founded in 1874. It makes Ryozeki Nihonshu using the famous Chikaramizu water that flows from the Mt. Kurikoma mountain system. A tour of the sake brewery is available with a reservation, and tasting is also possible in the sales corner. In addition, there is a Brewery Tour Commemoratory Sake, which can only be purchased in the brewery, that is also very popular.

蔵見学とともに、試飲も楽しませてもらいました。湯沢の町並みに合った重厚な蔵がよかった。中でゆっくり流れる時間を実感。試飲したお酒も美味しくて、帰ってから飲むたびに秋田を思い出しています。

蔵見学に行ってガックリしました。持っていた両関のイメージが壊れてしまう。もっと力強く、逞しいイメージを持っていたのが、何かこう物凄く薄っぺらいものに見えてしまった。案内してくれた方には申し訳ないが、両関への愛情が感じられませんでした。ただ、義務で行っているだけ、それも嫌々ながらとも思えてしまうような、寂しい思いを禁じえませんでした。
