Kochiyama Observatory油井岳・高知山展望台

Observatory / Outlook

This observatory is located at an altitude of approximately 415 meters. From it, visitors can see various scenery, such as the cityscape of Koniya below, as well as Oshima Strait and Kakeromajima Island. It is also famous for its beautiful sunset views and many tourists visit in the evenings. There is a parking lot available, as well as a path surrounded by lush nature that leads up to the observatory.

駐車場からバブが出そうな階段を登って行きます。階段脇にはハブ除けの棒が置いてあります。大島海峡、加計呂麻島、晴れた日には徳之島も見えるそうですが残念ながら曇りだったので見えませんでしたがとても良い景色でした。
夕日スポットで有名です。

海岸沿いの道路から山道を行く事約30分で山頂下の駐車場に。結構きつそうな階段下で杖を借りて山頂広場に到着。立派な展望台からは素晴らしい景色が眼下に望めます。行った甲斐があります。

パラオのロックアイランドかと思うほど綺麗な景色。
ハブは、夜行性なので昼は大丈夫とのこと。ただし、朝方は、朝帰りのハブがいるので少し注意してくださいとのこと。
