This science hall in Hofu City, Yamaguchi Prefecture stands out for its exhibits focusing on the sun. The first floor has a circular screen which shows films with special lighting and sound systems, and when the films aren't running it plays a real time video of the sun collected by the Solar 6 Connected Solar Telescopes. The second floor introduces the evolution of life and has regular science shows and other events.

子供向けに科学に関する体験学習ができる常設展、個別のテーマについて特集する企画展、その他のイベントが行われていた。常設展は目新しいものはなく基本的なもので小学生向き、企画展は大人まで楽しめるものもあると思った。外にはパラボラ糸電話やロープウェー、簡単な遊具もあり、あっと言わせる斬新さはないが、企画展やイベントをうまく捉えればファミリーで来ても各世代でそれなりに楽しめそう。ドームは螺旋通路を登りなが...

先日まで開催されていた『もぐもぐ探検隊』に行ってきました。子供心をくすぐる毎回の企画展を楽しみに出かけます。企画展以外にも科学教室や工作ワークショップなどに参加する事が出来ます。
