This tourism center is at the entrance to Akiyoshi Cave in Mine City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. The shop has a local production for local consumption area, and offers a wide variety of prefecture souvenirs like burdock root udon noodles made with burdock root picked in Mito Town in Yamaguchi. The wide-open restaurant can accommodate groups of up to 850, so with reservations they can accept large tour groups.

絶対食べるべきです!!!
正直、郷土料理の一種ね?一応これにしておくか、ぐらいにしか思わずに頼みましたが、いい意味で完全に裏切られました。

駐車場から歩いて秋芳洞に行く手前にあって、お土産売り場やレストランを兼ね備えた店としては大手だと思います。

秋吉台で収穫されたゴボウを麺に練りこんだ名物ごぼう麺に、ごぼうの唐揚げがてんこ盛りの「天ぷらごぼう」と、伝説由来の「河童そばセット」をいただきましたが、ごぼうの風味と麺のシコシコ感が、他では食べれないような地域の特性が生かされていました。

只、同じ店内で土産物はカード払いで5%還元なのに...
