These grounds are a museum of ruins near Doigahama Beach, and the area is preserved as Doigahama Yayoi Park. The ruins, roughly 9,500 square meters wide, have produced human bones, pottery, burial goods, and many other excavation items, which are on display in the museum. They also have events like Excavation Events, where you can try excavating bones and shell rings, and Shell Ring Making.

いつか行きたいが実現

ずっと、いつか行きたいと思っていました、やっと実現しました。周りに人も車も少なく、定休日かと思いましたが、やってました。大変、分かりやすく展示されており、小学生の娘も興味深く見学してました。ビデオ上映や、ボタンを押して音声が流れるような説明のものが、多くありました。レストランもありましたが、そこは少し微妙だったのでやめました。
小さいけどあなどれない

発掘された人骨から様々なことがわかる、ちょっとした鑑識のような博物館。国内でも有数の遺跡とは知らなかった。3Dシアターあり、発掘現場を再現したドームありで考古学好きな人はもちろんそうでない人も楽しめる。一般200円は安すぎでしょう。夏場は海水浴場も近くにあるので海水浴がてら立ち寄るのもいいのでは。
土井ヶ浜遺跡人類学ミュージアム

偶然、人類学ミュージアムの看板を見つけて行ってみることに。入場料は一般200円。館長さんかな？がいらして、ミュージアム内のちょっとした説明をしてくれました。3Dメガネを掛けて見た映像にはどのような人々の遺跡なのか、といった文化など解説していました。また、入り口をでて少し歩いたところには発掘時の状況を再現したドームがあります。チケットはこのドーム内の写真が使われていました。
