Higashi-Matsuyama Peony Park
This botanical garden located in Oya, Higashi-matsuyama City opened in 1990 to spread peonies, designated as the flower of the city. With approximately 6,500 flowers, it is one of the largest cultivators of peonies in Japan. The Botan Matsuri is also held there from late April to early May when the peonies bloom.
