Kamata Onsen
"This public bathhouse was established in 1937 and is located in Ota Ward, Tokyo. The waters of the bathhouse' sodium hydrogen carbonate spring and chloride mineral spring are black and thus the facility is also known as the ""black bathhouse."" The bathhouse abundant array of facilities include high and low temperature baths, a jet bath, electric bath, bath heated from below, and sauna. The bathhouse provides shampoo, body soap, and dryers. There is a large lounge on the second floor with karaoke and food, and here customers can forget the everyday and experience a carefree hot spring journey."

- Great onsen
- Train went a different way then planned and this was the nearest onsen to where we ended up. Great little spot. Cheap, black water which was an adventure. Recommend

- Genuine hot spring in Tokyo
- Very old fashioned, hot and a little bit dirty. But very nice place enough to enjoy the life of genuine traditional Japanese people. Original t-shirts are pretty.
