Nagasaki City Science Museum

Experience Hall / Accommodation Experience (Training) Facility
A 10-minute walk from the Oohashi bus and tram stop. This science museum is located next to the Nagasaki Prefectural General Gymnasium. The museum's exhibits look at the three themes of Nagasaki's environment, way of life, and future from a scientific viewpoint. The museum has an earthquake simulator, holds fun science experiment shows and, on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays offers science crafting classes, and each week participants can make something different. The Space Theater on the second floor makes use of a cutting-edge Chiron II to project stars and planets on a large dome via high luminance LEDs.
