Tennen Onsen Maruya Tama no Yu (天然温泉 丸屋 玉ノ湯)
"This day trip hot spring bathhouse is dedicated to supporting the health of mind and body and is located 1.5 kilometers from the Yokosuka Interchange on National Route 247. The bathhouse' diverse array of baths include a large outdoor bath sprawling on 300 square meter grounds, a lie down bath, ""tsuboyu"" round single person baths made out of Shigaraki ware, and a bath constantly replenished ""kakenagashi"" style with waters straight from a source spring welling up from 800 meters underground. The gentle, pH neutral waters of the bathhouse' sodium chloride spring are said to treat such ailments as nerve pain and joint pain. The bathhouse also holds events such as special seasonal baths."

Aichi is a prefecture of great natural beauty with Nagoya city at its heart, a busy hub home to a labyrinth of underground shops and the 17th-century Nagoya Castle. Castles are easy to find in this history-rich prefecture, but the highlight for history buffs has to be the Museum Meiji-mura, where preserved buildings from the turn of the 20th century are displayed in all their grandeur in an outdoor museum.
