Ostrich Kingdom Ishioka Farm (ダチョウ王国 石岡ファーム)

4.0

Tourist Ranch / Farm

An activity-oriented tourism farm located a 10-minute drive from the Chiyoda-Ishioka Interchange. Visitors can get up close and interact with over 50 varieties of animals, including ostriches and alpacas. In particular, the farm keeps over 200 of its namesake ostriches at any given time in a free range area. Small children can also safely interact with smaller animals at the farm like rabbits and guinea pigs, petting them and giving them food. In summer, the farm has a blueberry patch where you can pick blueberries. In the farm's barbecue ground, you can enjoy unusual dishes like grilled ostrich meat and giant fried ostrich eggs, perfect for taking pictures of and uploading to a social media site.

Review of Ostrich Kingdom Ishioka Farm

TripAdvisor Traveler Rating
Reviewed:2020/03/22

Just a stone’s throw from Tokyo, Ibaraki is a coastal prefecture that has mastered juxtapositions, where old shrines meet new scientific discoveries and traditional gardens are frequented by the inventors of some of the newest technology.
