"This long-established Japanese restaurant is located approximately a five-minute drive from JR Okayama Station. ""Mamakari,"" which is also the name of the restaurant, is another name for Japanese scaled sardines, and cuisine using the fish is Okayama Prefecture's famous local dish. More than 90% of the fish which the restaurant uses is naturally raised, rice and vegetables that are pesticide-free much as possible, and you can taste delicious seafood dishes prepared without any chemical seasonings. One popular menu item is the lunch course ""Horai"" that is recommended for gatherings such as among friends."

郷土料理を食べることが出来る店です。比較的安いのにボリュームもあり満足でした。おいしい酒もありました。

岡山中央郵便局近くに立地する和食店。店名のとおり、ママカリの酢漬けなど、ままかり料理が自慢の店だが、サワラや黄ニラ、ばらずしなど岡山名物は一通りそろっている。カウンターも個室もあり、宴会やデートなどいろんな使い方が可能。値段はそれなりだが、雰囲気もよく、また行きたいお店。

美味し過ぎてご飯が足りなくなって、隣のいえにまま(飯)を借りに行くというほど美味しい『ままかり』を店名にしている老舗だ。ままかりのイメージとは違う高級店だ。海の幸が豊富な瀬戸内らしい美味しいものが食べられる。
