"This Tendai sect temple located in Takatsuki City, Osaka Prefecture was opened by En no Gyoja in 697. As the first sacred placed where Bishamonten (guardian god of Buddhism) was enshrined in Japan, its principle images are three Bishamonten figures. The sitting Amida buddha figure and both Kannon figures enshrined in the main hall have all been designated nationally important cultural properties. At Kejo-in Temple, the ""Bishamonten Fudo Goma Ritual,"" the continuous burning of wood to invoke divine help, is conducted every day without fail. In addition, surrounded by mountains full of nature, many worshipers visit every year as a place to enjoy fresh greenery in the spring and the changing leaves in autumn."

かなり山奥にあるお寺

高槻駅から市バスで４番の原大橋行きに乗って行くことができるお寺。バスで20分ほどかかるのでかなり遠い。バス停を降りてからも少し歩く必要がある。
穴場の紅葉スポット

混雑していない紅葉スポットをもとめ、娘に教えられ訪れました。車で行きましたが、高速が近くにできたということで新しい駐車場があり、そこから15分くらい歩くと到着します。隠れた名刹ということで、家族連れや御夫婦などちらほら。紅葉はすばらしくのんびり過ごせました。
