Kaizu City Museum of History and Folklore

Reference/Local/Exhibition/Literature Museum
"A museum with a distinctive exterior that replicates a castle. It showcases the history and culture of Kaizu City, with ""Shell Mounds and Ancient Tombs,"" ""Ring Levees and Low Land Agriculture,"" and the ""Takasu Clan"" being the main themes. The items on display teach about life in the ancient Jomon period. Excavated artifacts include pottery and bones from humans, animals, and fish, as well as shells demonstrating Gifu was once closer to the sea than it is now. Their third floor Noh stage can be rented by traditional performing arts enthusiasts regardless of where they are from."
