Choshi Irifunezushi
Founded in 1925, this veteran sushi restaurant is halfway between JR Choshi Station and Matsugishi Station on the Tone Suigo Line. They serve fish the owner procures from Choshi Port, so the menu changes depending on the weather and the day's catch. Sometimes they even have fish that aren't commonly available. They're committed to using natural ingredients that let the flavor of the fish shine. The first floor has a counter and tatami mat floor seating, while the second floor is all private rooms with horigotatsu seats (low tables with a recess beneath where you can extend your legs). The rooms are great for nights out with groups of friends.
