This seafood restaurant in town north of Katagai Beach serves the bounty of the waters off the Boso Peninsula like squid and scallops. They also feature Japanese pilchard prepared a number of ways, including sashimi, sushi, and tempura styles. Their plump kabayaki style pilchard is particularly popular. It's a great place for tasty Chiba dining with locally grown rice and soup made with local ingredients. Reasonably priced lunch meal sets include tempura on rice and sushi. Items for take-out include their pilchard bone rice crackers and gomazuke pickles. These make good gifts if you'll be visiting people.

片貝漁港からほど近い和食割烹店です。ランチ利用でしたが土曜日の昼時ということも有り満席で待ちました。人気のイワシ寿司をいただきました。イワシ寿司は全部で12箇有り、とても綺麗に並べてました。また、シコイワシをこれだけ丁寧に仕事をしている寿司はお勧めです。

GWに夫婦２人で行ってきました。今回で２度目の利用です。１１時開店と同時に入りましたが８~10組程のお客様で満席になり、その内4組は地元の人と思われる方です。いわし御膳といわしフライ定食を頂きましたが、いわし御膳にはおさしみ、イワシの天ぷら、さんが焼、塩焼き、つみれ汁にごはんがつきます。どれも新鮮で美味です。いわしフライ定食もフライが3枚につみれ汁にごはんで900円。地元のお客さんが多いということ...
