This waterfall is located off of Prefectural Route 23 to the east of Kawamata Lake in Wakama, Nikko City. The name comes from the cascade's serpentine appearance. It's surrounded by forest, and the scenery is especially beautiful during spring with its young leaves and when the foliage turns colors in the fall.
