Youyu-an

A large hot spring bathhouse located in the Hinatayama Onsen hot spring district. The bathhouse is constantly supplied “kakenagashi” style by a sodium - hydrogen carbonate spring whose waters are said to beautify the skin. Customers can bath enwrapped in the fain fragrance of hinoki cypress in the large communal bath. The open and airy outdoor bath is surrounded by rock and lush greenery. The bathhouse also has 11 distinctive private reservable baths, each of which is equipped with toilets, a washroom, and lounge. Customers can have these individual, elegantly designed baths all to themselves. Body soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryers are also provided. In addition to day trip hot spring bathing, the bathhouse also has hotel rooms. The guest rooms have their own outdoor baths. The facility serves delicious, local Kagoshima cuisine such as aged Kagoshima Shinwa pork shabu-shabu.
