A lodging and activity facility adjoining Roadside Station Kuni-no-Matsubara Osaki located a 30-minute drive from Kanoya City on National Route 220 traveling towards Shibushi. Facilities include a hotel, hot spring bathhouse, restaurant, and shop. In the Shoin no Yu bathhouse, visitors can enjoy bathing in the skin beautifying waters of a hydrogen carbonate spring; the bathhouse has a private bath which can be used with a wheelchair. The restaurant serves chicken nanban made with flavorful Sakurajima-dori chicken and oju lunch boxes made with local eel from Osaki Town. The local specialty products shop sells fresh vegetables and seafood, gifts, souvenirs, and shochu.

こちらには両手で数えるくらいドライブで道の駅に遊びに来たりたまには安いので宿泊をすることもあります。温泉もきれいで日頃の心身の疲れを取るのにも良いです。近くにはキャンプ場もあるので今流行りのソロキャンプには良いでしょう。私はここをベースに高隅山、甫与志岳、国見山、稲尾山に登りました。標高は低山ですが味わいのある山だと思います。ホテルの皆様には大変お世話になりました。眼鏡を一時温泉に忘れてひと騒動し...

宿泊施設・温泉館もある道の駅。温泉館は入浴料320円と格安です。物産館はそこそこな広さで地元の農産物や海産物、土産物が販売されてました。食事処も鹿児島にこだわった食材を使用したメニューが並んでます。休憩スポットとして立ち寄っておいてよい施設だと思いました。

家族で旅行しました。野方ICを降りて、海辺へ向かうこと20分、大きなカブトムシマークの道の駅です。大きな公園では、ボール遊びや滑り台、水遊びができ、子供達は楽しそうでした。お昼はレストランでうどんをいただきました。道の駅の中は、物産コーナーがあり、地元産の野菜やお菓子等が数多くあります。そして温泉もサウナに大浴場、露天風呂等あり、１日の疲れを癒してくれます。
