An alkaline simple spring bathhouse located a five-minute drive from Tarumizu Port. All of the baths are constantly supplied “kakenagashi” style from the source spring. Facilities include an outdoor bath, a yuzu citrus bath, a Goemon bath, and a skin beautifying “treasure” bath (women’s area only). Visitors can enjoy hot spring bathing along with an up-close view of smoking Sakurajima. The bathhouse also operates as a hotel and guests can make use of the bathing facilities for free. The bathhouse restaurant offers a wide selection of all-you-can-eat-and-drink plans. All of the restaurant’s dishes are cooked with natural alkaline hot spring water and diners can select among courses such as a shabu-shabu course made with Kagoshima’s famous Berkshire pork.

夕食は4種類の鍋から選べ、しかもドリンクも飲み放題です。その中でもぶり鍋が一番のおすすめです。露天風呂からは垂水湾と桜島遠くには鹿児島市から指宿まで雄大な眺めが望めます。猫が沢山住みついていているので、猫が苦手の方には不向きだと思います。出張で4回世話になりましたが、従業員の方の笑顔が素敵でした。部屋はあまり期待しない方がいいですが、ビジネスホテルに泊まるよりははるかに快適です。

ミネラルウォーターで有名な「財宝」が運営している施設で、幹線道路から坂を上ったところに立地しています。宿泊施設は、ワンルームマンションのような簡易なもので、企業の研修施設みたいでした。財宝のペットボトルが無料でついてくるのはうれしいです。夕食は、豚じゃぶの食べ放題・飲み放題で、お腹いっぱいいただき、大満足です。温泉も桜島が眼前にあって、見晴らしはよかったです。基本的にはセルフサービス的な対応...
