A Japanese restaurant located on the first floor of Hotel Union a three-minute walk from the west entrance of JR Kagoshima-Chuo Station. Here customers can enjoy Kagoshima’s brand Roppaku (“Six Whites”) Berkshire pork, so named because of the six white areas found on this breed. This pork is fed sweet potatoes for 60 days prior to shipping and has a clean, light flavor popular with both men and women. In addition to table seating, the restaurant also has tatami mat seating perfect for families with children. Roppakutei’s signature Berkshire pork shabu-shabu is particularly recommended. The thin slices of pork, cooked after a brief swim in a golden broth, are sweet and flavorful.

豚しゃぶと豚カツを食べました！特に豚カツは非常に分厚く、食べ応えがありました！また、玉子のカツもあってトロトロで美味しかったです。お店には焼酎の種類が豊富でお店の人がオススメを紹介してくれます。鹿児島行ったらまた寄りたいです。

魚の刺身は少ないですが鹿児島ぽいものが色々楽しめました。味も悪くなかったです。種類豊富なイモ焼酎には驚かされました。気楽に楽しむには良い店だと思います。

鹿児島旅行で伺いました。初めて食べる本場の黒豚しゃぶしゃぶは本当に柔らかく美味しくて、感激しました。鹿児島らしい料理も焼酎も豊富にあり、とても楽しめました。
