A restaurant which serves local Satsuma (Kagoshima) cuisine and a la carte dishes. The establishment’s abundant variety of local meals includes fresh, local Kagoshima chicken sashimi, tonkotsu ramen made with Berkshire pork bones stewed in miso, and vegetable-rich satsuma-jiru soup. The restaurant fresh seafood from Kinko Bay is also popular. The restaurant also offers seafood rice bowls and the “Ontamaran-don,” a local Ibusuki specialty consisting of a bowl of rice topped with a fresh Ibusuki custard-like “hot spring” soft boiled egg.

We had sushi here. It was OK but we have had better and we didnt think they were the best cuts either in texture or flavour. I tried the sho chu (sweet potato drink) which was pretty strong but good.
