Founded in 1760, Tamahide is a restaurant that specializes in poultry cuisine that was developed by a falconer that served the shogunate. Their Tokyo game foul torisuki (from sukiyaki) was famous during the Edo period for its traditional flavors from before the Western influence on Japan. Try their famous oyako-don (chicken and egg on rice) for lunch and their torisuki for dinner. They also offer completely private dining rooms for anywhere from 4 to 50 guests.
