Kosoan Teahouse and Gallery
Other Coffee Shop
This teahouse and gallery is at the main entrance to Jiyugaoka. Constructed of mulberry wood over 90 years ago, time flows quietly by here and you could forget you're in the city. The window seats looking out on the courtyard are very popular. Inside the shop, dolls and antiques produced by the doll maker Fukuko Watanabe soften the hearts of guests. The menu features classy sweets including the Maccha tea set with seasonal Japanese confectionary, a maccha green tea and bean jam sweet set, and maccha ole with wagashi sweets.
