This small zoo opened in 1978 as Japan’s first town-managed zoo, and it’s located about 20 minutes from Hamura Station. The zoo keeps a variety of animals including the popular lesser pandas, giraffes, ostriches, and meerkats. The appeal to the zoo is the fact that it is a small-scale park with an at–home ambience featuring the “Doki-doki Hands-On” area where visitors can pet chicks and guinea pigs and the “Nakayoshi Dobutsu Park” with a fairytale theme where guests can feed goats and miniature pigs. It also has a grassy lawn and a steam locomotive on display, making it a perfect place to picnic and spend a relaxing day.

リーズナブルでちょうど良い大きさの動物園

とにかく料金がリーズナブル。大人400円だし、4歳以下無料。駐車場は、1日300円。コロナ時期にいったので、動物との触れ合いコーナーなどは、閉鎖中でしたが、動物の種類も多く、何より園内の高低差が少なく歩きやすいし、ベビーカーでもまわりやすかった！トイレも比較的多く、おむつ変える台もある。食事を売っている所は1箇所しか無いですが、価格も高くないので、利用はしやすい。有名キャラク...
