A museum located on the eighth floor of the Shibuya Hikarie shopping mall connected directly to Shibuya Station which displays 47 exhibits, the same as the number of prefectures in Japan. The museum exhibits 47 items from the 47 prefectures based on a given theme, giving visitors the chance to view Japanese craftsmanship and traditions up close. The museum has become a place where people can experience the potential and possibilities of Japan from such diverse angles as crafts, food, design, and nature.
