Panasonic Shiodome Museum
An art museum located on the fourth floor of the Panasonic Tokyo Shiodome Building in Minato City. The museum first opened in 2003. In addition to its standing exhibition of works by key 20th century French painter Georges Rouault, the museum also holds a variety of special exhibitions and art events. Making use of next-generation lighting, the museum uses approximately 50% less power than would otherwise be needed for a facility of its type. Note the museum’s environmentally friendly “gentle lighting.” This lighting environment brings out the true beauty of the pieces on display. Be sure to visit the museum shop as well.
