Shiseido Parlour Salon de Café Ginza Honten (資生堂パーラー 銀座本店サロン・ド・カフェ)

This is a long-standing sweets parlour that has inherited the tradition of the Soda Fountain founded inside the Shiseido Pharmacy in 1902. The shop offers a variety of sweets that range from the original menu since the time of its founding to modern desserts and parfait using seasonal fruits. The light meal with items such as French toast is also popular. The gorgeous interior is reminiscent of the Meiji period, making this a great spot to enjoy an elegant tea time. The closest stations are Shimbashi Station and Ginza Station.

You eat with your eyes before your mouth.

Every time we are in Ginza, we will have our tea break here.

Always a need to wait15-30 min for table

A little sparse on decor, but a nice plush coral room with elegant desserts and Christofle silverware. However, Brits and North Americans, be warned that your 1500 yen cup of tea is truly just one...

The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It's hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world's tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you're in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
