This roadside station is on National Route 324 just as you're entering Amakusa City. Its shop has lots of items featuring octopus, a local specialty. Stop at the restaurant for a bowl of takoten-don, octopus tempura on rice. Its popular day-use hot spring facility Sazanami-no-Yu has a great view of the Ariake Sea. It also has its trademark tower and a playscape for the kids.

建物から歩道橋を渡ると大たこのオブジェがあります、前は海で眺めもとても良いです。休憩やランチにとても良いと思います

リップルランドは、道の駅有明の別名なんですね。天草上島の中央あたりの北側の海岸近くの高台にありました。リップルランドと四郎ヶ浜という景色の良いビーチの間は陸橋で結ばれています。目の前の有明海の向こうには雲仙の山もきれいに見えました。国道沿いの海側には、ちょっとグロテスクな大きいタコのモニュメントがありました。この有明は、タコが有名な場所なんです。道の駅には、数多くのタコ製品が並んでいましたよ...

タコの町、有明にある道の駅有明。もう一つの名前がリップルランドなんですね。タコの町らしく、館内の物産品コーナーにはタコ製品を初めとする海産物とその加工品がたくさん並んでいました。それらを見るのも楽しいですが、ここの海岸がかなりきれいなんです。道の駅からビーチまでは立派な歩道橋があります。国道を渡ると、そこには「ありあけタコ街道」と書かれた巨大なタコのモニュメントがありました。
