Guernsey Farm

A farm situated along Prefectural Route 669 in Kuju, Kuju-machi, Taketa City. The farm produces Golden Milk from Guernsey cows, a variety of cow of which there are only a few hundred in all of Japan. Visitors can enjoy pony rides, interact with animals such as goats and sheep that are allowed to roam freely on the grounds, and take the farm’s dairy plant tour. The farm’s shop sells dairy products made exclusively from Guernsey cow milk as well as ham and fresh baked bread, while the farm’s restaurant offers a popular lunchtime all-you-can-eat buffet, yakiniku Japanese-style barbecue, and cheese fondue.

Dined here for their buffet lunch with friends. The restaurant has a bank of windows that look out toward the mountains. Food was plentiful and tasty. Price was under twenty dollars and after...

ソフトクリームがおいしい。必ず買うのは、やみつきとんがらし。野菜を買いたかったのですが、今日はなかった。。。かぽすを買いました。家に帰ってよくみたら、一個つぶれてかびていました。でもほかのものは、ジューシーで、たいへんよいものでした。家族へのお土産は、馬肉の燻製、牧場ヨーグルトとリッチヨーグルトを買いました。全部おいしかったです。。

味は濃厚、買ったチケットを手渡し、ソフトクリーム（コーン）を受け取ると密度が濃いというか、量がたっぷりというか、しっかりどっさりって感じ。見栄えもよいが味が濃厚で、行った人は食べるべし。つくりたてドーナッツもおいしかった。
