This drive-in rest stop is located on the side of the Kuroshio Line in Niida, Kochi City. It features four restaurants for visitors to enjoy. At the Tosa Tataki Dojo, guests can eat freshly-caught skipjack tuna they seared themselves with burning straw. At the café Kashiko, guests can enjoy sweets made with adzuki bean paste. Other restaurants include Kujira no Ippuku, which offers seared skipjack tuna donburi (rice bowls), and Omusubi Kororin, which specialized in udon noodles. There is also a shop that offers processed Tosa seafood products, local sake, local sweets, and other local products.

高知の美味いものと言えば真っ先に思い浮かべるのがカツオのタタキ。
こちらのお店ではカツオのタタキを食べるだけではなくて、わら焼きの体験ができて、自分で焼いた鰹のタタキを食べることができます。
藁焼き体験のできる、龍馬膳を食べましたが、他に大盛りのしらすをご飯に乗せて食べるしらす丼もついて美味しかったです。

鰹自体の味は、それほどで、もっと美味しいところが沢山あると思います。ただ、長年の経験から非常に工夫された運営がされていると思いました。

ここの後に、三翠園に泊まって翌日は鰹のタタキの有名店で昼食をとりましたが、ここの藁焼きカツオが一番美味しかったですね!
もちろん、その日のカツオの具合や、藁をくべてくれるおばちゃんの技など色々な要素があるのでしょうが、今回食べた中では抜群でした。
予約しておくと、焼いて直ぐに席について他のお料理がセッティングしてあるテーブルで食事ができます。
一緒にセットになっていた土佐牛の小鍋も美味しかったです...
