This roadside station has a glamorous location facing the islands of the Seto Inland Sea on one side with the sacred Mt. Takanawa behind it. With the theme of a town where you can feel the climate, region, and nature all wrapped in a gentle sea breeze it was given the name Fuwari (made from the Japanese characters for wind, peace, and village). As the name implies at this scenic roadside station you can buy vegetables freshly picked each morning alongside seafood, processed goods, and handmade staple dishes. There's also a food corner where you can enjoy a snack such as ice cream or jakoten (fish paste fritters), making this the perfect place to take a break during a drive. During the summer months the beach will be filled with beach-goers.

レストランや特産品売り場のある一般的な道の駅。瀬戸内の島が眺められます。レストランの営業時間が短いので注意が必要です。

とても綺麗な海の前にあり、四国の観光パンフレットなども充実。地元のお土産物の他、別の棟には野菜、魚、果物、花木など買い物も楽しい。11時からは地元の料理が食べれる食堂も開店。たこ焼き、じゃこ天、ジェラートの店もある。バイクや自転車の置き場も広い。

すぐ前がビーチの景色のよい道の駅でした。少し早めでしたが、ランチもここのレストランですませました。ゴールデンウィーク中ということもあり、駐車場も混雑していました。駐車場は係が案内していました。道路を渡るとすぐにビーチで天気のよい夕方に来ればここは絶景でしょうね。
