Mon Pearl Shinju Kaikan (真珠会館)
Uwajima pearls stand out worldwide for color, brilliance, and condition and here you will find them available for purchase and can try your hand and making things with them as well. Uwajima, blessed with pearl farms in the deep bays of the rias coastline, is home to the best pearls in Japan. By skipping the middleman and processing all pearls in house, they can offer high-quality pearl products at wholesale prices. There is also an onsite restaurant offering traditional Uwajima cuisine made from fresh seafood straight from their aquarium. Their locally made and sold Pearl Sweet Crunch is a popular souvenir.
