By skipping the middleman and processing all pearls in house, they can offer high-quality pearl products at wholesale prices. There is also an onsite restaurant offering traditional Uwajima cuisine made from fresh seafood straight from their aquarium. Their locally made and sold Pearl Sweet Crunch is a popular souvenir.

ツアーランチにここで鯛めしを頂きました。食べ方を教えてくれ、食後はお買い物。安い物から高い物までの真珠の製品や、お土産物も売っています。
観光バスの立ち寄り所なのかな・・

他の場所へ行く途中に見えたのでちょっと寄ってみました。広い店内は半分が真珠製品、あと半分はお土産品の販売です。真珠はお安い物からお高いものまで幅広い品ぞろえですが、スタッフがとても熱心に勧めてくれました・・

昭和のドライブインのような店構えに令和初日に訪問。真珠会館という名称ですが、お土産を多数揃えたお店。もちろん宇和島名産である真珠も多く、3000円台から50万円超えまで品揃えは様々。
