This small hot spring is surrounded by beautiful valleys and green mountains. Fed by a free-flowing alkaline simple sulfur spring, the baths are said to have a number of beneficial affects including giving bathers clear skin. In addition to day bathing, there are also accommodations for visitors seeking hot spring cures. Both the deep Iya Gorge, with its raging streams and high cliffs from dozens of meters to 200-meter, and the Kazura Bridge, one of Japan’s three most famous unusual bridges and a national Important Cultural Property, are located within a one-hour drive of the hot spring.

加熱掛流し

アルカリ性の単純硫黄泉が加熱掛流しです。つるつる感があって、ほのかな硫黄臭もします。内湯しかありませんが、５２０円で加熱ながら、投薬なしの掛流し温泉は四国では貴重な温泉です。
源泉かけ流しの温泉、市民の味方

入浴料５２０円（大人）で、源泉かけ流しの温泉に入れます。素晴らしすぎる。お湯を顔にもってくると、ほのかに硫黄（？）の香りがします。トロトロ、ヌルヌルとしたお湯です。入って出ると、足裏かかとのガサガサが少し解消してました。出てからもなかなか湯冷めしないので、汗かきながら車を運転しておりました。

凄く良い温泉があるという話を聞いて初めて訪れましたが、山の奥地にあるので辿り着いた時には、ちょっとした喜びがありました。その道中の山間の川が本当に綺麗で密かな絶景ポイントが沢山あります。それだけでも行く価値ありと思えるような場所でした。温泉に入る前にコチラの方とタクシーの運転手さんと、しばらく東京から来たとか立ち話をしていましたが、最寄り駅からタクシーで数千円かけて来る方もいるそうです...
