4.5

Ropeway, etc.

This climbing lift at Mt. Tsurugi operates from late April to the end of November each year. Visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the seasonal scenery offered by the mountain. The cherry blossom and fall foliage seasons are especially popular. The lift takes about 15 minutes to ascend or descend the 830 meters of slope distance between Minokoshi and Nishijima. Visitors can stay, eat, and shop at the Chojo Hyutte and the Unkaiso located at the peak of Mt. Tsurugi. Visitors can thoroughly enjoy the beauty of the virgin forest and alpine flowers.
