Ondo Ohashi Bridge
"This highway bridge connects Kurahashi Island to Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture on the mainland. Its red arches recall the large vermilion torii gate at Itsukushima Shrine. The roads that lead to the bridge spiral up to it, leaving room for large boats to pass beneath. In order to cope with an increase in traffic, they made the ""Second Ondo Ohashi Bridge"" about 350 meters away in 2013. This is also a red Nielsen Lohse arch bridge, but it lacks the spiraling roads. "
