五代友厚像のある泉公園の向かいに位置し、朝日通り電停から徒歩１分の所にあります。食品はかるかんなどの郷土菓子、さつま揚げ、黒豚の加工品、焼酎、工芸品では薩摩焼、薩摩切子、大島紬、屋久杉製品などと鹿児島自慢特産品が２１００品目以上集まっています。お土産選びには最適なショップです。
