ZOU-NO-HANA CAFE (象の鼻カフェ)

Other Coffee Shop

This is a take-out style cafe in Zou-no-hana Terrace that combines an art space and a rest area. You can get an unbroken view of the port landscape such as Yokohama Osanbashi Yokohama International Passenger Terminal through the glass. The cafe specialty is “Zou-no-hana soft cream” which is made with waffle chips and chocolate chips to express the ears and eyes of an elephant’s face. The events and menu put in place were designed by artists and creators and as it is an “artist café”, it is proposed to spread art through the food served.

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo's most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
