Miyako Taiken Craft Village is located within the Miyakojima City Botanical Garden. Visitors can try their hand at one of nine different activities, including woodcarving, pottery-making, shell-work, making local cuisine, riding Miyako ponies, and making traditional Miyako-jima textiles, providing a rich and in-depth experience of Miyako-jima and other Okinawan handicrafts and traditions. 沖縄旅行では、ジェルキャンドルを作るのがお決まりになっているのですが、ホテルになかったので調べてこちらへ訪問しました。広い敷地内に、様々な工房が点在しています。ジェルキャンドルの体験では、優しいおばさまが6才の子にも分かりやすく、丁寧に教えてくださいました。次の旅行でもまた伺いたいと思います。

私と長男はシーサー作り体験長女と次女は貝殻工房でアクセサリー作りシーサー作りは最初どうなることかと思いましたが出来上がると意外とちゃんとシーサーで自分で作りながら驚きました！！乾燥して焼いて…一ヶ月後届くのが楽しみです！！

空港に行く前の時間に尋ねました。熱帯植物園を回っていたら、時間が少なくなってしまいました。最低1-2時間とっておけばよかったです。シーサーつくりの体験などをやってみたかったと思います。どのような体験ができるか、写真撮れましたのでのせておきます。
