Located on Lion Avenue roughly 10 minutes’ walk from the Kotoden railway company’s Kataharamachi Station, Kawafuku is a long-established Sanuki Udon Noodles restaurant. The restaurant has been in existence since 1950. Kawafuku is particularly famous as the first restaurant to sell zarudon (chilled Udon noodles), which is still a popular item on the menu, at any time of year. The Kawafuku flagship store stays open until midnight.

Just found it by random and it was really good. I really love the curry udon. Price was great too and very easy to access.

割と早い時間にしまってしまううどん屋さんが多い中で夜遅くまで食べられるので助かります。そして、ざるうどんがとてもおいしかった。少しずつ甘めのつけダレも良かったです。

ライオン通りの饂飩屋さんに呑んだ後の〆に訪問。店内は多層階になってらしく店員さんに促され2階に。ギリギリ酒をオーダー出来る時間だったのでスーパードライ中瓶と釜玉うどんを注文。生姜醤油と卵の黄身だけを饂飩に混ぜて食す、ラーメンも良いけど高松に来たので呑んだ後の〆には饂飩、大変美味しゅうございました。
