Senshunraku Jozan
Senshunraku Jozan is a ceramics workshop which has Kaneko Nobuhiko, a ceramist who has won many awards including the Yamaguchi Prefecture Cultural Achievement Award, working there; here, visitors can experience the beauty of Hagi-ware, a ceramic tradition with a history going back more than 400 years. Besides opportunities to view the potters at work and have a guided tour of the bank kiln, there is also a gallery showcasing the workshop’s creations and a large gift shop.
