Seseki Onsen

Hot Spring / Hot Spring Bath
Seseki Onsen is a natural hot spring discovered in 1899. It is located 20 minutes by car from Rausu Town on the Nemuro Strait coastline. It is a secret hot spring that only appears at low tide and the bathing period is limited to the beginning of July through to the middle of September (or sometimes at the end of September). This hot spring is useful for treating neuralgia, lumbar pain, chronic rheumatoid arthritis, chronic skin diseases and sciatica. The Japanese TV drama “From a North Country The Will 2002” was shot at this hot spring. The hot spring is privately managed, so it is good manners to say hello before taking a bath.
