Tatsu no Yu

A day trip hot spring bathhouse located in Okurakaigandori, Akashi City. Facilities include outdoor baths such as a bath with a scenic view supplied by the Tatsu-no-Yu, a natural chloride spring whose waters oxidize and turn a dark brown on contact with air; a rock bath; hinoki cypress bath; and individual round stone baths. There are also indoor baths like a whirlpool bath, and a sauna. Facing the sea, the bathhouse commands a sweeping view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, and on New Year's Day, the facility is open from 5:00 a.m. so customers can enjoy the first sunrise of the new year inside.
