This ropeway is in Kinosaki-cho, Toyooka City. It runs from Kinosaki Onsen Station to the Daishi Sancho Station via the Onsenji Station. The 676-meter one-way trip takes about seven minutes. Onsenji Temple is located near Onsenji Station, and its main hall is a National Important Cultural Property. The Kinosaki Art Museum is also on the grounds. The temple's Oku-no-in Daishido sub-temple is on the summit, where there's also a lookout with a sweeping view of the hot spring town and the Sea of Japan.

Just a short ride up to the top. I went on a really rainy day so it wasn't crowded at all, but of course the view wasn't as good as on a sunny day. Cafe at the top station was quite nice.

ticket for ride half way is 700Y, going up for pay respected temple. Nice view but not much sign or direction explanation for tourist.

A great view of the sea n where Kinosaki Onsen town sits but the shrine n surroundings don’t offer much. If u only hv one night here, not worth the time n money
