Farm Tomita is a tourist farm in Furano, Hokkaido, which is called “lavender heaven.” Beautiful lavender fills an entire field. The flowering period is from late June for the early blooms until early August for the late blooms. The best time to see Lavender East, the biggest lavender field in Japan, is from early until mid-July. There is also a shop on the site that handles pot pourri and perfume made from lavender as well as a cafe. Even in the off-season, you can enjoy a variety of flower fields.
