This soba buckwheat noodle shop is in Okimoto, Yumesaki-cho, Himeji City. Their Yume Soba noodles are made of 80 percent stone ground flour from locally grown buckwheat in an additive free broth. They also serve other fare like rice bowl dishes. Their shop offers local produce, sweets, local sake, and a variety of other commodities and items. They also run a larger restaurant that can accommodate up to 500 guests that serves fare like seasonal Japanese style meal sets. Reservations are required.

書写山の帰りに友達と立ち寄りました。ヤマサ蒲鉾の工場の手前にある和風平屋建ての趣のあるお蕎麦さん。
地元夢前町産の夢蕎麦を石臼で挽いた二八蕎麦。チケットを買うセルフサービスの店ですが天井も高く窓の外には夢前川のせせらぎが見えゆっくり出来る空間です。鬼おろしかき揚げ蕎麦を食べました。のどごしもよく細めのお蕎麦でした。かき揚げはヤマサらしくさつま揚げです。あまりの暑さにカキ氷も食べてしまいました。売店...

夢前温泉 泊まりの後 寄りました。 とろろおろしそばと 鬼おろしかき揚げそばを 食べました。美味しかったです。

穏やかな自然いっぱいの田舎にあり、地元の蕎麦粉を使ったそばでした。ヤマサ蒲鉾さんが経営しているようなので、出来立てのさつま揚げも美味しかったです。汁にもう一工夫欲しいかな。
