Roadside Station Amarube道の駅 あまるべ

Michi no Eki Road Station

This roadside station is located on National Route 178 in Amarube, Kasumi Ward, Kami Town, Mikata County. It's next to Sora no Eki (Sky Station), the observation facility that utilizes Amarube Viaduct Railway Bridge. It features shops selling local farm products and seafood and has an exhibition on the Amarube Viaduct Railway Bridge. Its restaurant offers set meals, rice bowl dishes, and noodles featuring seasonal seafood including their Sora no Eki Meal Set and Amarube Tekkyo Gozen tray.

余部鉄橋のふもとにある道の駅です。食堂、お土産のほかに、模型など余部鉄橋の資料も少し展示してあります。多くの観光客がやってきてともて賑わっていました。

餘部鉄橋のふもとにあります。地元で取れたお野菜などを売っています。餘部鉄橋の歴史を学べます。併設の資料館には鉄道グッズが置いてありました。

「余部鉄橋空の駅」がとくに物産館とかでないのに対して、そのふもとにあるこちらは道の駅。なので道の駅スタンプがある!のですが、スタンプの種類が多いのがうれしいです。どの図柄も味わい深く餘部鉄橋がデザインされているので、スタンプコレクターの方におすすめできます。
