Sanda City Outdoor Activity Center

A caravan campground located close to the Kannou-ji Temple in Sanda City, Hyogo Prefecture. Here visitors can enjoy barbecuing, river sports, forest therapy, and hiking in a lush, seasonally beautiful area. Visitors can also look at stars and the moon under the guidance of an expert starwatcher using a 40 centimeter-diameter Newtonian-Cassegrain telescope in an astronomical observatory on the grounds. The campground area has bungalows and cabins and the facility rents Dutch ovens, kamado stoves for rice cooking, and other cooking utensils. Utensil use requires a reservation made by 17:00 three days in advance.
