A shallow coastal beach area considered one of the most beautiful in the Kinki region, an area with numerous such locations. The beach is located in Setonaikai National Park a 25-minute drive from the Chuji interchange on the Himeji By-pass or a 30-minute drive from the Tatsuno and Tatsuno-nishi interchanges. Visitors can swim here during the summer and enjoy clamming from early April to late June. When in season, visitors can dig up Japanese littleneck clams, razor clams, and other varieties, and during the Golden Week holidays, nearby parking areas are crammed with people looking to go clamming. An ocean festival and beach volley ball tournaments are held on the beach in summer.

快適に楽しめるポイント！朝は潮干狩りの会場が開く前に到着すること。休憩場所に近い駐車場に入れるし、休憩場所も好きなところを確保できます。休憩場所は昼前なんかに行くとなかなか空いていません。バケツ、熊手など基本的な道具類は全て安価でレンタルできるので、わざわざ持っていかなくても大丈夫です。10:00か10:30に開場します。干潮前でも皆ザブザブ海に入って、手探りで貝を探します。それくらい...
