Experience Hall / Accommodation Experience (Training) Facility

An educational facility located in Fukuro, Kounosu City. The facility has an earthquake experience corner, exhibits which teach how to escape smoke and fire and use a fire extinguisher, a room where visitors can experience winds of 30 meters per second, and informational exhibits on disaster prevention. Through simulated experiences and other materials, visitors can improve their awareness of disaster prevention methods and learn what to do in the event of a disaster.

鴻巣(旧吹上)のアピタ跡地裏に防災学校があるのですが、そこに併設している一般向けの学習センターです。
駐車場ももちろんあります。
無料で入館でき、基本的な防災体験はガイド付きのツアー形式でまわっていきます。

強風体験では、風速30メートルの強風を体感できます。(小学生以上)
消火体験では、訓練用の消火器を使って映像の天ぷら鍋に向かって放水できます。(小学4年生以上)
